Heyooo!
This is my entry for  's contest.This is her original character Blood Lust! I redesigned her outfit, kind of a Victorian/Gothic Lolita. This took me SOOOOO long OMG!!!!! I just couldn't get the depth right, and the clouds took me about 5 hours all on their own. GRAH, although I like how they came out. Its a mixture of some brushes I made and your everyday photoshop defaults. I really wasn't sure what to do with the background...I had some idea's but it just didn't work. Kinda settled for this one. Can anyone tell me how I could fix the depth of this picture? Seems a bit...flat? Iunno In any case this took me SOO long. Theres only about 3 days left till the contest is over. I've been working on it continuously for weeks! I really hope she likes it, I changed the outfit so much...might not be something the character would wear. I was trying to stay in character...but I guess thats up to Strawberry chi XD. Wish me luck!! <3 |

I hope that strawberry chi doesnt think the outfit is too far gone. If it was my contest, I'd love someone going so far out with a costume, but thats just me.
Er, as for the flatness....It might actually be the gradients you used. the one in her stockings kind of bugs me...I dunno. It might just be a personal taste thing. lol. (i'm no expert, but I'd say that might be whats keeping it flat-ish)
anyways, great work. I'm sure you'll win......that is unless some fool draws her holding a purple and yellow duck. then you'll lose of course.
